Privacy Policy
Pitch Protocol helps founders submit one structured pitch and route it to thesis-aligned venture funds. This page explains what we collect, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account info — the email address you use to receive your verification code, plus your name if you provide it.
- Application content — everything you (or your AI agent acting for you) submit: company details, traction numbers, team backgrounds, fundraise terms, your pitch deck PDF, and your answers to follow-up questions.
- Usage data — basic, anonymous analytics about how the site is used. We use PostHog with cookieless, memory-only persistence — no tracking cookies and no cross-site identifiers.
- Technical data — standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) kept for security and abuse prevention.
We do not collect special-category data (health, biometrics, etc.) and we don’t ask you to provide it.
How we use it
- To run the submission and matching service you signed up for.
- To evaluate your application against fund theses in our network.
- To share your application content with funds in our network whose thesis it matches.
- To send you transactional emails (verification, status updates, decisions).
- To detect abuse and keep the service secure.
We do not sell your data.
Who sees what
- Funds in the network see only the applications whose defined thesis and interests they match. Only the data you include in your pitch is shared.
- Pitch Protocol partners review applications routed to them as part of normal evaluation.
- Service providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring) process data on our behalf under contracts that restrict use to operating the service.
- We will disclose data if required by law or to enforce our Terms.
Where data lives and how long we keep it
Data is hosted with reputable cloud providers. We keep your application as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion at any time; we may retain limited records for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Your choices
- Access / export — email us and we’ll send you a copy of your data.
- Correction — update your application directly via the MCP tools, or email us.
- Deletion — email us and we’ll remove your account and application, subject to the retention exceptions above.
- Withdrawal — withdraw a live application at any non-terminal status via the MCP
withdrawtool. - Opt out of analytics — analytics are already anonymous, but you can block them with any standard tracker blocker.
Children
Pitch Protocol is for adults running or representing companies. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We’ll post material changes on this page and update the date above. If changes are significant, we’ll notify you by email.
